Welcome to the Brampton Tanzania Trust website.
BTT raises funds in response to specific requests for help with small-scale projects
from Tanzanians who live in the four villages that make up Uru North
on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
All of these projects are identified, planned, costed and supported with
volunteer labour and their own expertise by the villagers themselves.
Click on the buttons to the left to find out more about the projects and how BTT helps.

Some of the first intake at the new Msiriwa Secondary School in Njari Village leave the finished classrooms after exams. Now it is time to build four more classrooms as a second intake will arrive in January 2008. BTT has raised funding for two of them - but once again it is the local community who will contribute the most - their labour, enthusiasm and commitment.
